How do I install Lunaris?
Download the launcher, run it, and log into your account. Then click "Install / Update mod" — the rest happens on its own.
Do I need a license key?
No. Just create an account (in the launcher or on the dashboard), log in and play. Nothing to buy, nothing to renew.
Is Lunaris free?
Yes, free forever, for everyone. The launcher, your account, Lunaris Lite and the full mod (Lunaris DLC) cost nothing, with no time limit and no account limit.
Can I move my account to another computer?
Your account is bound to one device (a hardware ID is stored the first time you launch the mod). To move to a new computer, log in to the dashboard, open Settings and press the HWID reset button. It clears the assignment and signs you out everywhere; the next device you launch on becomes the new one.
Self-reset is allowed once every 30 days. If you need it sooner, contact support.
Can I get banned on a server?
Possibly. Client mods are against the rules on many servers, and we do not control server moderation or third-party anti-cheats. Combat and movement modules are tuned to stay under the checks used by popular anti-cheat systems, but we cannot promise any server will accept them. Use it at your own risk and respect server rules.
Which Minecraft version do I need?
Minecraft 1.21.4 with Fabric Loader. The launcher detects your profiles automatically and installs the mod into the right one.
Is Lunaris safe? Is it Lunaris DLC?
Lunaris is its own project and is not affiliated with Lunaris DLC. It never asks for your Microsoft or Minecraft login: the launcher uses only a separate Lunaris account (username and password), and the mod runs in a separate profile created by the launcher, so your own Minecraft installation stays untouched.
Windows or my antivirus blocks the launcher
The launcher is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC" for any new unsigned app. Click More info → Run anyway. If Avast or another antivirus blocks it, add the Lunaris folder to its exceptions. It is a false positive: the installer only installs the launcher, and Lunaris Lite is downloaded separately on first launch.
